The Military Brotherhood MMC Hills Murraylands Sub-branch is participating in Veterans Health week again this year. We will be running 5 different sessions to help veterans connect through the use of metal and glass art. 

The use of art as a form of therapy is well documented. These events will introduce veterans in dedicated metal and glass studios to the different forms of art. The classes will provide an opportunity to connect with a community of fellow enthusiasts and artists.

The classes we are running are:

1.  Connection through Metal Art - Forging a metal rose  14th October 2024

2. The Glass Connection (Copper Foil techniques for glass art) 15th October 2024

3. Forging a Connection with Blacksmithing (Basic Forging Techniques) 16th October 2024

4. A Glass window to Connection (Lead Light Window techniques) 17th October 2024

5. Using Art to Connect ( An introduction to creating metal art and tooling) 18th October 2024

All classes will start at Birdwood at 10.00 AM and numbers are limited for participants and observers so a booking is essential to secure a spot.
